The history of our Group of Companies reaches back to the 1990s, when Ferenc Ertl started his private business as a carpenter. In 1995 he purchased a piece of the site we occupy currently then he established the ER-FA 2000 Faipari Kft. (wood industry company) in 1996, the scope of activities of which included trade in furniture materials and accessories and manufacturing individual furniture.
In 1996 we launched our shop in Székesfehérvár. After that one of the most important milestones followed in the life of our group of firms in 2001, when the commercial and the manufacturing parts separated and the ERTL Faipari Kft (Wood Industry) was established. Through separating the two main activities we were able to optimize the purchasing of materials and the commercial tasks and thus production became more economic and cost effective.
We manufacture furniture for corporate clients, from design to finish, ranging from the simplest solutions to high-tech.
We are equipped with a range of machinery typical of the modern woodworking industry: plate cutting machines, CNC machining centers, contact sanders, flat and vacuum presses, cabinet presses, and packaging machines. Surface treatment is carried out using state-of-the-art surface treatment and veneer processing machines and technologies; high-gloss and special finish surfaces are also produced in our own workshop. Every condition is provided in our production plan to manufacture furniture that live up to today’s expectations. Our capacity allows us to undertake large projects as well, and the professional background is provided for the implementation of individual products. Quality plays a major role in our company ideology, for which reason quality control is looked upon as a key task. This way we have been able to become a serious supplier for several international networks.
Today, 180 employees, a 4,500 m² manufacturing plant, a 5,300 m² warehouse for raw materials and finished goods, and a 1,600 m² retail shop and office ensure perfect working conditions. Our revenue reached HUF 3.5 billion in 2025. We deliver furniture to over 20 countries worldwide.
